Specimen Prep. See p3. Kill with boiling water, then mount dry in such a way that both top and bottom can be examined. Head should be extended and mouthparts and antennae spread out. Genitalia preps needed.
Difficulty The main key uses a balance of characters, but "only an examination of the aedeagophore will define any species beyond doubt".
